The tax value of Jack and Annette Williams’ Firetower Road home has been under dispute since 2011.
Seven years of pre-trial wrangling, well over $100,000 in total court costs and four days in front of a jury last November brought only a slight adjustment in the value of a large Firetower Road home.
And, according to an interview with owners Jack and Annette Williams last week, this story is no where near the end, as the only thing settled last November was the value for the 2011 tax year. The Williams have unsuccessfully appealed the value of their home every year since then to the Board of Equalization (BOE) and with an attorney have pushed their appeal on to the superior court.
