Calvin Osborne Williams, 90 of Jasper, passed away Wednesday, August 28, 2019 at his home. He was born September 25, 1928 to Carter and Della Williams in Canton, Georgia.
Osborne proudly served his country in the United States Army. After leaving the army he then worked for Jones Oil Distributing Company in Jasper for 40 years. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Jasper from the early 1970s and was the oldest member of Blaine Lodge #534. He belonged to the lodge for over 66 years. His father, Carter, also belonged to the Lodge until his death in 1992.
Osborne is survived by his wife of 58 years, Peggy Clark Williams of Jasper; daughter, Dena Blalock; daughter and son-in-law, Dale and Scott Fortenberry; grandchildren, Kelsie Blalock, Haley Fortenberry; and brother, Leon Williams. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Gladys Johnson, Irene Reddin, Lois Hinson, and Benny Williams.
The funeral service was held at 11 a.m., Friday, August 30, 2019 in the Chapel of Roper Funeral Home with Kevin Roper officiating. Interment followed in Sunrise Memorial Gardens.

Billy Randall Webster, 36, of Jasper, Georgia passed away Sunday, September 1, 2019 at his home.
He is survived by his daughter, Brookelyn Marie Webster of Jasper; mama and step father, Gail and Fred Warden of Talking Rock; daddy and step mama, Bill and Patsy Webster of Jasper; sisters, Denise and Dwayne Collins of Dawsonville; Regina Silvers of Jasper; Katrina Lock of Talking Rock; Brianne Wright of Jasper; brothers and sister-in-law, Johnny and Cindy Wright of Jasper; Jamie Davis and fiance, Julie Cain of Ellijay, several nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, September 7, 2019 at Mt Vernon Church at 2 p.m. with Reverend James Samples and Reverend James Thompson officiating.

John Wesley Craft Jr., 71, of Talking Rock, passed away Thursday, August 29, 2019 at his home. He was born February 9, 1948 to John Wesley and Etta Mae Craft in Columbus, Georgia.
He is survived by his wife, Pamela Craft of Talking Rock; daughter and son-in-law, Jenni and Matt Shoffer of Jasper; son and daughter-in-law, Steven and Shannon Craft of Woodstock; grandchildren, Caitlyn Belle Shoffer, Clayton Matthew Shoffer, and Caroline Elizabeth Shoffer; sister and brother-in-law, Deb and Robert Pickren; sister-in-law, Patricia Cutchins; and cousin, Mary Richardson. Nieces, Courtney Cutchins, Christi Pickren and Merit McMannis, Tania and Landon Fitzgerald, nephew and fiance, Kevin Pickren and Crystal Williams, great nephew; Ryan Fitzgerald.
A memorial service was held at 3 p.m., Sunday, September 1, 2019 at the Chapel of Roper Funeral Home.
