Mrs. June Allen Dellis of Rome, passed away on Thursday April 26, 2018.
She is survived by her four children, Brian Dellis, David Dellis, Jean Clair Dellis, Hester and William Dellis. She is also survived by her son in-law, Max Hester; daughter-in-law, Stacy Burke Dellis; granddaughters, Brooke Dellis and Hannah Dellis.
Mrs. Dellis was preceded in the death by her husband, Don Dellis.
June Allen Dellis was born April 8th 1938 in Warm Springs, Ga. She was the daughter of WC Allen and Margaret Payne Allen. She attended Pickens High School in Jasper and received her Bachelors in Sociology at Middle College of Georgia and her Master in Sociology at West Georgia.
She was very active in her church, Friends of the Library, and Good Neighbors. She retired from Floyd Medical Center after 20 years of service in the Social Services department.
The receiving of friends and family will be Friday, May 4th, between 5 and 7 p.m. at Daniels Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Saturday, May 5th at 10 am at St. Peters Episcopal Church.
In lieu of flowers the family is requesting donations be made in the memory of June Dellis to the YMCA, Sarah Hightower Regional Library, Humane Society or St. Peters Episcopal Church.

Mr. Tommy Platt, 86, of Tate passed away Saturday, April 28, 1932 at Northside Hospital, Cherokee.
Mr. Platt is survived by his wife, Patsy Platt of Tate; son and daughter-in-law, Doug & Robyn Platt of Jasper; son, Richard Platt of Tate; daughter and son-in-law, Darlene & Ron Wallace of Epworth; daughter, Denise Lavender of Canton; grandchildren, Jacob Lavender, Harley & wife, SonMi Platt, Sarah & husband, Donnie Crofts, Matthew & wife, Jennifer Wallace, Andy & wife, Christie Wallace, Christopher & wife, Amanda Platt, Daniel Platt and Donovan Platt. Also multiple nieces & nephews.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 1, 2018 in the Cagle Funeral Home Chapel.
Interment followed at Lake Forest Memorial Park.
Pallbearers were: Jacob Lavender, Harley Platt, Ron Wallace, Brian Massingale, Donovan Platt and Daniel Platt.
The family accepted flowers or make donations to the charity of your choice in the memory of Tommy Platt.

Mr. Coy Mullinax, 83, of Jasper passed away Sunday, April 29, 2018 at Piedmont Mountainside Hospital.
Mr. Mullinax is survived by his wife of 63 years, Tamer Mullinax of Jasper; sons and daughters-in-law, Ed & Dixie Mullinax of Cartersville and Audy & Sabrina Mullinax of Jasper; brother, Bill Mullinax of Monticello; brother and sister-in-law, Frank B & Debbie Mullinax of Jasper; two grandchildren, Andrew and Stephen Mulllinax; several nieces & nephews.
Coy was preceded in death by brothers, Charles Mullinax and Harold Mullinax; daughter, Phyllis Diane Mullinax and grandson, Jonathan Mullinax.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, May 1, 2018 in the Cagle Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Greg Bryant officiating.
Pallbearers: Andrew Mullinax, Stephen Mullinax, David Camp, William Mullins, Brett Mullins, Phillip Black, Joey Fleming, Keith Reece, & Eli Padgett.
Interment was at County Line Baptist Church Cemetery immediately following the funeral services.
