KENDALL-female, hound-bulldog mix

I am Kendall and I need someone to foster me, crate train me, and give me lots of one-on-one attention until I am more self-assured.  A temporary foster home now will help me find my forever home later.  Of course there is no charge for fostering me.  I am shy, sweet, kind, gentle and quiet.   I weigh about 38 pounds and have short white hair with highlights of brown, kind of like dogwood blossoms.  I have an awesome heart and would give you lots of love for helping me.

I would like to visit with you here at the Pickens County Animal Control Shelter.  I have lots of cat and dog friends here and we are all looking for a forever home to fill with love and laughter.

PHILLIP—five year old, male, mixed terrier dog
Hello, I am Phillip, a pretty lucky guy.  A car hit me, for no good reason except I got too close to the road.  I was hurt more than the car, but a Good Samaritan took me to a really good dog doctor here in Jasper and he fixed me up.  I have been recuperating at the Shelter.  I am now fully recovered and am ready for a new permanent home—one where I can be away from roads please!  I weigh about 25 pounds and I have a loving nature.  The people here at the Shelter say I am both sweet and intelligent.  I am black and white with gray freckles on my front legs.  I know I am good looking so I pose for photos.  I would be very grateful and loyal to my person.

It would be nice to visit with you here at the Pickens County Animal Control Shelter.  I have lots of cat and dog friends here and we are all looking for a forever home to fill with love and laughter.

Visiting hours are 12:00 PM B 5:00 PM Tuesdays through Fridays and 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM on Saturday. No appointment is required.  If you can, please donate cleaning materials, pet food, and pet supplies to the Shelter.

BETTY—female, grey domestic shorthair cat
Hi! I am Betty.  I am shy and sweet and I love to play.  But I am not competitive with other cats, I just play for fun.  I am about ten months old and have an unusual coat of gray, white, and apricot tan.  I am quiet and loving and would make someone a great companion.

I hope you will come visit me soon at the PAR Ranch.  I have made lots of dog and cat friends here. And all of us are ready to fill someone=s home and life with love, companionship, and joy.

VINNY—Cattle dog mix male dog
Hello, I am Vinny a one-year old beautiful and sweet dog.   Although I am a cattle dog I really prefer running and playing in a big backyard rather than being with cows.   I also like to play with other dogs and older children.  I weigh about 40 pounds—just the right size for going for rides and walks with you.

It would be nice to visit with you here at the Pickens County Animal Control Shelter.  I hope you will come meet me and all my cat and dog friends here.  Everyone is looking for a forever home to fill with love and laughter.

LOLA—a two-year old shepherd mix female dog
Hi! I am Lola a very bright (in more ways than one) young dog.   I have a bright shiny, mostly white, short hair coat with just the right amount of tan and black highlights.  And I have a bright mind and personality.  I am house trained, I walk well on a leash, I will sit and pose for you, and I love kids.  In fact I love everyone.  I could fill your home with loads of love and laughter.

I hope you will come visit me soon at the PAR Ranch.  I have made lots of dog and cat friends here.  And all of us are ready to fill someone=s home and life with love, companionship, and joy.

BELLE—female, plot hound mix puppy

I am Belle, certainly the Belle here at the PAR Ranch.  Not only am I a beautiful brindle color, I am youthful – just four months old and I am the ONLY girl in a litter of seven puppies.  I have a short tail and I weigh about 20 pounds.  Of course I am still growing.   My six brothers are here at the Ranch also and they are all different colors.   Some are black and brindle like me, some are black with white markings, some have short tails (like me) and some have long tails.

We all have lots of energy, but I am the calmest.  I pose well for pictures and I do well on a leash.  We are all learning new commands each day.

I hope you will come visit us soon at the PAR Ranch.  We have made lots of dog and cat friends here.  And all of us are ready to fill someone=s home and life with love, companionship, and joy.  I know we could be each other’s closest and best friend.
