The public is invited to attend a Memorial Day service on Monday, May 27 to honor the soldiers who have fought and died while serving. The service will be held at 10 a.m. at Sunrise Memorial Gardens Cemetery (across from McDonalds on Hwy 53). It will last approximately one hour and will feature guest speaker who is retired from the Federal Bureau of Investigation. There will also be the singing of the national anthem, a welcome from Talking Rock Mayor Peter Cagle, the presentation of wreaths and a 21-gun salute. The service will last approximately one hour.
