Sharptop Arts Association is excited to report over 70 unique, handmade pieces have been donated to this Saturday’s Patio & Garden Auction Fundraising event, and what better way to show your mom you love her than with an original work of art for her garden.
Donated art has come in both locally and from around the county, including wind chimes, birdhouses, birdfeeders, yard art, paintings, and many other pieces in a wide range of mediums.
The auction will include top-notch catering from the well-known Coast 2 Coast catering company, which is owned and operated by owners of Madeline’s Café and Millie’s Diner in Jasper, as well as music from Daniel Johnson and Randy Dobson, who will be playing in our beautiful Visionary Gardens for people who want to take a break from the auction.
Kyle Waters of Kyle Waters Auction Company back this year to run the auction, bringing with him his lively auctioneering style that will keep the event exciting and fun.
Each ticket is just $10, and you get entry to the event, heavy hors d'oerves, entertainment and one drink ticket. The auction begins at 6:30 p.m. but you can preview the items ahead of time from 4-6 p.m. The awards ceremony will begin at 6 p.m. for entries that are part of the competition.

Winners of the contest are: Best in Show: Ellen Minion with “Rock On Rocker,” 1st Place: Dee Boggus with “Mushroom Sage,” 2nd Place: Lynn Dwyer with “Rake Head,” and 3rd Place: Fred and Laura Ellis of Something Southern Pottery with “Birdhouse Lantern.”
