Zaxby's reopens following fire damage

Licensee Steve Cockerham re-opened the doors to Jasper’s Zaxby’s restaurant Monday, Oct. 29. The restaurant has been renovated after a kitchen fire in May, pictured above. In advance of the official public reopening, Zaxby’s  invited local first responders to a private appreciation party on Sunday for their quick-response time in putting out the fire.

“Before reopening our doors, we want our local first responders to be our first guests as a way to extend our deepest gratitude and admiration,” said Cockerham. “Because of them, much of the restaurant was protected, allowing us to swiftly rebuild and continue serving the Jasper community.”
Zaxby’s is located at 132 Bill Wigington Parkway, across from Kroger. The restaurant will operate Monday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 9:30 p.m., Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Sunday from 11:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m.
“We’re thrilled to be reopening our doors,” said Cockerham. “We’ve built our reputation and loyal following in this community by providing excellent service and great-tasting food, and we plan to continue carrying on that tradition.”
Zaxby’s currently operates more than 560 locations in 13 states - Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas and Virginia.
