Sign up now for next week's JeepFest

jeepfestnextweek      If you own a Jeep and are itching to get it off road, consider signing up for the 2012 JeepFest Crawl for the Kids, being hosted and organized by the Pickens County Sheriff’s Office.

JeepFest is a three-day event that organizers say will attract hundreds of jeeps and their drivers/passengers to Pickens for group rides, obstacle courses, food, music and much more. While organizers say JeepFest is sure to be all kinds of fun, it is also the sheriff’s office major fundraiser for the Georgia Sheriff’s Youth Homes.

JeepFest 2012 is being held Friday, Sept. 14 through Sunday, Sept. 16. You can register the day of the event in the field behind Ingles from noon to 5 p.m., or you can register online at  www.sheriffsjeepfest.com before the event.

The Pickens County Sheriff’s Office can be reached at 706-253-8900 or at www.pickensgasheriff.com
