Pet of Week July 14th Storm

There is lots of love waiting at the Pickens County Animal Shelter for some lucky families.   The kittens and dogs send their best through purrs, meows, tail wagging, love licks, and eyes full of hope, love and friendship.  The adoption fee is $25 plus the cost of vaccinations and neutering, (usually between $75 and $93).   Visit the Shelter Tuesday through Friday from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM or on Saturday from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM at 3563 Camp Road or call them at 706-253-8983.

This week’s goodwill ambassadors from the Shelter are:

Hi, I am a 2 year-old female Pit Bull.   As you can see I am a very loving, friendly, and playful dog.  I love other dogs and like to carry my toy chimpanzee friend on my back.  I am looking for a loving home where I can show my gentle nature.

Cats that are also available

I am Mosley, named for a famous Confederate General.  I am an 18 month old male, Siamese mix cat with gorgeous blue eyes and a loving, playful disposition.  I am a large cat with lots of energy to play and to love.

I am a baby (eight weeks old) male kitten.  I am cute, cuddly, and just all over adorable.   I am black and white with beautiful facial markings.  I have three brothers and sisters just as cute as me.   I am a bit shy and curious and very special.
