Students recognized – With school winding down, not only are the seniors being featured, but award winners at all level, including the elementary Math Bowl, athletic scholarships and school board recognitions are featured throughout this edition.

• Is your parenting good enough? – As part of May Mental Health Month, local counselors have been providing weekly articles on different aspects of family life. This week, John Mauldin from the Bear Cottage, Collaborations for Resiliency in Children, discusses how to be a “good enough parent,” page 19A.

• Be on lookout for scam artists working storm cleanup. FEMA has advised that after they move out, often times scam artists move in. They note there is never a fee for government services and to be careful giving personal information to someone who may be posing as a disaster relief official. Page 18A.
