Atlanta Falcons Physical Therapy Centers earlier this month announced it has acquired Jasper Physical Therapy. Financial terms were not disclosed. This acquisition brings Atlanta Falcons Physical Therapy Centers to six centers in the metro Atlanta area. The other five centers are located in Suwanee, Dacula, Marietta (one on Johnson Ferry Rd. and one on Canton Rd.) and Snellville. “Since 1998, Jasper Physical Therapy has set the standard for physical and occupational therapy services in the Jasper area,” AMB Group Business Development Director Dan Gordon said. “Jay Potter, Larry Steinbeck, Martha Meier and their team offer excellent patient care, which is a shared priority, and we look forward to enhancing the business under their continued leadership.” Gordon noted that the Jasper center will increase the number of insurance plans it accepts and expects to offer new specialties, such as women’s health and pelvic rehabilitation, to its list of services. “The goal of all of our centers is to provide patients from youth to senior with the best care – the same as our Atlanta Falcons athletes receive – in a positive, motivating environment,” Gordon said. In October 2007, Atlanta Falcons Owner and CEO Arthur Blank’s management and investment company – AMB Group, LLC – launched its first Atlanta Falcons Physical Therapy Center as part of a larger plan to bring professional-grade physical therapy and sports rehabilitation services to the public. Each Atlanta Falcons Physical Therapy Center features highly-skilled therapists, state-of-the-art equipment and a motivating Falcons-branded environment. Therapists are required to participate in internal and external continuing education programs to ensure each patient receives the latest treatment methods and finest care. “We’re excited to become part of the Blank family of businesses,” Potter said. “Atlanta Falcons Physical Therapy Centers has earned the trust of hundreds of physicians and patients throughout the metro Atlanta area, and we are proud to now be associated with them. This move will enable us to take our center to the next level in physical and occupational therapy for the Jasper community. All of our clinicians see this as a great opportunity and look forward to continuing their careers with the Atlanta Falcons Physical Therapy Centers.” Patient care will continue at the same location at 620 J L White Drive, Suite 110, in Jasper, adjacent to Piedmont Mountainside Hospital. The center will be upgraded to reflect the Falcons look and feel, and will continue to offer a full complement of physical therapy, occupational therapy and industrial rehabilitation services.
