Alex Zipse interview

6/3/2009 - Annalene Reece

Alex shows through her story, “The Face of Autism,” a big heart full of love and kindness for these special ones who are different from others and they have feelings too. I hope you will all read her story on the web.

Annalene Reece: Congratulation on your winning first place in our Creative Writing contest.

Alex Zipse: Thank you.

AR: What are some of the things you like to do?

AZ: I love playing with my little sister, playing video games, soccer, and hanging-out
with my friends.

AR: What do you want to do when you are through school?

AZ: Right now I am thinking I would love to be an artist.

AR: You are how old now?

AZ: 12-years old and in the sixth grade and my teacher is Joy Fowler.

AR: You wrote this story so well, maybe you should consider keeping on with your
writing. What made you want to write on Autism?

AZ: I have an uncle who has autism and I want people to see how it is.

AR: Congratulations again Alex, and I do hope you will keep writing.

AZ: Thank you. Goodbye.
