It is interesting, to say the least, to study the human conscience. Conscience...I guess that I should offer some explanation of the term. Conscience is our endowed non-tangible (or physical) being, which pulls us towards non-secular reflections. It certainly gives us also a longing to know what is beyond a mere materialistic view. The supernaturalism that surrounds us in our modern society is distorted in many ways, but the truth remains that something moves outside the scene, and we have the ability with our bestowed logic with our bestowed logic to find and to understand. Our ability to reason should convince one of intelligent design. Why do not all organisms have the ability to reason, compromise, and assess consequences? Evolution is impossible, and I will not go into much detail with Darwin’s legacy considering it is statistically impossible and there is no existing evidence. But if we abandon naturalism as invalid, we can only be left with intelligent design. Do not misunderstand my quick dismissal as arrogance. For materialism in its self is self-contradictive. If it says we are accidents and our minds are chemical bi-products, how can we trust our own logic? If our minds are purely physical accidents how can we form valid theories? We cannot. Every man or woman desires to learn his or her origin. This feeling shows us we are not "part of the whole show", but if we were why would we be in objection to our destiny? Intelligent design is the most reasonable theory, and our conscience pulls us towards it. The next obstacle is to discover why a sovereign and a all-mighty God would not reveal himself? Has he not? The Bible’s testimony, a risen messiah, and witness to attest to it are our evidence. Though men dismiss this it is more substantial than a naturalistic view. But why do we dismiss it? Because man transformed themselves into a stronghold of pride. We ourselves wish to be a god. The Greek word used for inspiration means "God breathed" in the book of 2 Timothy. If it was not divine how could it have survived the fires of tribulation and persecution from the world’s strongest known empires, such as the Babylonians, Greeks and the Romans. Can we say: "God show yourself!" if we come to grips that he in both direct and general revelation. He physically manifested his self, and at least four hundred witnessed Jesus walking alive after the crucifixion (by Jewish Law two witnesses had a testimony enough to pronounce a death sentence). Honestly, do we deserve to "see" him in this perverse and unfaithful generation? If we are not willing to believe on faith why should he submit to our wishes and we not to his? If God did show himself to this generation some would believe, but others would still be obstinate (Revelation gives us an example in this), and after a generation had passed people would still doubt his manifestation. Understand that he does not need us, but we need him. So therefore, we should believe the way he wishes us to believe. Finally, what do we deserve? The world in its present state is a dark room with a minimal amount of light. We condemned ourselves with pride and disobedience, but what happens next shows God’s true character. He gave us his son (God incarnate) to suffer pain for and from his creation! God cannot view in sin for he is all-good and evil is a perversion caused by disobedience to his will. But what then? Are we doomed? No, for a perfect being yields a perfect sacrifice. Christ Jesus holds our hand at the father’s gaze. And as he loves his son, he also loves our love for his son. You can deny him, but I will stake my spirit on this: that you will confess him as God, but timing is everything is it not? I do not write this in arrogance, but I do wish that none can say they were ignorance, because as it is said: "Ignorance is no excuse of the Law". Do we have the right to fight against which we were endowed in? No, we do not, but that fact is being lost and has almost become the minority in this nation and generation.
