Life is like a long hallway
With many doors on either side
You can take a long boring walk
Down the hallway, or
You can open a door
And see what's behind it
You might not like
The room behind the door,
But that's okay, just
Close it and open another.
Maybe this one will be
More to your liking
Some doors will lead you
Down the wrong path
They will get you into trouble.
But don't worry, these doors
Are usually easy to avoid.
Just trust your instinct
And don't open them.
Behind some doors
There is nothing.
And you fall. You fall hard
You fall far. But
Don't give up, you'll
Find a new door and continue on.
Some doors are locked
And will never be opened.
Don't bother with them,
There's a reason they're locked.
Those doors weren't meant for you,
Just move on and don't ever wonder.
You'll know your door
Is the one that you're
Happy with. Your door
Won't push you out.
And no matter what door
You’re meant to thrive behind,
And no matter how long
It takes to find it,
It's there ... waiting to be opened.
