All-Stars named for Rec. Dept. Basketball

The regular basketball season may be over, but look out for the All-Stars from the Pickens Rec. Dept.

Rec. Dept. Director Melinda Logan said, "The season went great, with the exception of all the snow causing cancellations.”

Games for the All-Star teams start next Thursday Feb. 17, lasting until Saturday Feb. 19.

 

Girls 7-8 include: Cassidy Richards, Addie Fitts, Allie Pressley, Lauren Redman, Kaila Solomon, Sarah Morris, Zoe Morgan, Breanna Payne, Emma Long and Gracie Nix. They will be traveling to Tallapoosa County, along with their coach: Greg Long and will be playing the winner of Bremen and Trion Counties.

Girls 9-10 include: Torrie Williams, Emily Gibson, Jacey Moss, Emma Nix, Chloe Walker, Bailey Pendley, Hannah Fields, Mykenzie Weaver, Olivia Simmons and Katie Eubanks. They will be traveling to Fannin County, along with their coach: Mickey Walker and will be playing Bremen County.       Girls 11-12 include: Shelby Cook, Kelsey McVey, Baylee Jordan, Bailey Payne, Taylor Patterson, Sydney Rumble, Shae Chadwick, Heather Sutton, Ashley Hamby and Brittany Wigington. They will be traveling to Haralson County, along with their coach: Todd Payne and will be playing Trion County.

Boys 7-8 include: Owen Moss, Mason Watkins, Jared Angel, Hunter Kalson, Clay Raynes, Seth Davis, Jordan Pendley, Seth Duncan, Matt Pacas and Daniel Tetterton. They will be traveling to Bremen County, along with their coach: Kelly Moss and will be playing Trion County.

Boys 9-10 include: Michael Burrell, Zachary Goss, Seth Bishop, Avonta Johnson, Will Lawrence, Dylan Huffman, Thomas Pinson, Will Roland, Ripken Walker and BJ Barnhill. They will be traveling to Bremen, along with their coach: Zack Goss and will be playing the winner of Fannin and Trion Counties.

Boys 11-12 include: Blake Gorth, Evan Jones, William Young, Dalton Sipsy, Jacob Blackwell, Josh Pendley, Hunter Fowler, Brett Riley and Logan Bobo. They will be traveling to Trion County, along with their coach: Terry Roop and will be playing Haralson County.

Boys 13-14 include: Connor McEntyre, Billy Ruff, Levi Hollifield, Dylan Thomason, Jeff Buckingham, Aaron Cannady, Kory Densmore and Thomas Howard. They will be traveling to Gordan County, along with their coach: Johnny McEntyre and will be playing Rome-Floyd County.
