     In what is being called one of the most severe animal cruelty cases ever seen by the Pickens sheriff’s office, investigators are looking at conditions that led to the likely starvation deaths of a horse and a baby burro and the severely emaciated condition of ten other animals.
     Local Save the Horses supporter Chipa Wolfe wrote in an e-mail to the Progress of the shock that he and other volunteers had upon finding the condition of the animals.

This makes me physically SICK! There is NO excuse for such abuse. The people that did this, need to be in jail. NO excuses, as I'm sure someone will post here, excuses. That's BULL! Animals dying of starvation & thirst is UNACCEPTABLE. If they weren't caged they may have had a chance of finding food. I am sick with anger & disgust. There were no neighbors who saw this? Or did they see and look away?

Is it true that they were Cheryl Flanagan's horses??? Thats what i heard. This disgusts me to no end. Whoever did this needs to be in jail
