Acting troupe invites community to hear about next season
and learn about getting involved
By Nan Nawrocki,
Tater Patch member
All the many participants in Tater Patch are volunteers. Their interests are wide-ranging -- from acting, to making and designing costumes, painting and building scenery, lighting, designing advertising flyers or ushering at shows. All their volunteers are a big family and enjoy being a part of the theater in many ways. If you would like to be part of the fun and help your theater grow and prosper, please contact them or come by the Open House.
The Players wish you to know they are offering an exciting season for 2013. The main plays presented will be Driving Miss Daisy in February, Grace and Glorie in March, Lend Me a Tenor in May, The Fantasticks in August and Dashing Through the Snow in November/December. They are also planning to start a monthly movie feature next year, a program for young teen actors, and present several guest performers. If you'd like to be a part, the Tater Patch Players family ask you to join them -- as a patron, a sponsor, a member or a volunteer. Their slogan is "If it's entertaining, it's Tater Patch!" They invite you to be part of the fun.
The Tater Patch Board of Directors also wishes to thank our advertisers and sponsors, or audience members, the City of Jasper, and the Pickens County Progress for all their enthusiasm during the past year. One of the Board members was heard saying, "We want to continue to bring great entertainment and opportunity to Pickens County and Jasper."
