Givens sentenced to life for 2010 Whitestone murders

    FRONT-Givens      Appalachian Judicial Circuit Superior Court Judge Roger Bradley has sentenced Charles William "Billy" Givens to life in prison without parole for the double murder of Laura Schell and Wayne Alan Poole, Jr. at Whitestone in July 2010. Givens also committed aggravated assault against Robbie Payne at the same crime scene, when he shot Payne in the face. Payne survived.

I personally saw him beat people up on multiple occasions for no apparent reason, so that is NOT a lie.

HOWEVER, I take back my previous comment that he should be given the death penalty. Reading these more recent comments I now understand that no matter bad someone is they still have family and friends who love them, and who they love and have had a positive impact on. I understand that even good folks can make bad decisions, and I'm sorry not only for the families of these victims but also for those who love Billy who are affected by this tragedy. I wish everyone, including Billy, the best possible outcome.
