Open the door at the Joy House with matching gift campaign

By Steve Lowe

Executive Director

Joy House

We have enjoyed a good response to our matching gift challenge to finish the boy’s home in the last month. A couple who are regular donors to the Joy House have issue a matching gift challenge to complete our new boy’s home and school. They will match dollar-for-dollar any gift received between now and Dec. 31 up to $20,000. This will give us the needed $40,000 to bring the project to completion.

We are looking forward to opening the doors of this new home so we can help more young men and their families. Completing this home will allow us to minister with eight young men versus the four we can currently serve. Because of our limited capacity we have been unable to help several young men and their families over the past several months who have called seeking help.

As of Monday, Dec. 12, we have received $7,500 of the needed $20,000.  We appreciate all the support we have received from the community so far, and would ask others to prayerfully consider if the Lord would have you be a part of finishing this important project.

You can make a check donation by sending to the mailing address below and noting “Boy’s Home” in the memo line. You can also donate by visiting the website at www.thejoyhouse.org and click “Make a Donation” on the right. When making a donation online please specify “Campus Fund.”
