alt

From Pickens Sheriff Business Watch

Sunday, our office received the second report of a Church Break in this week. During both break-ins, a safe has been taken. The first break in occurred off of Hwy 108 at Pleasant Valley Church. Today, a report was made at Yellow Creek Church. In an effort to predict the efforts of these individuals, our office had a camera placed at Yellow Creek Church. The camera captured a photo of a car that was seen at the church during the time of the burglary.

The vehicle is a Honda Civic (2009 to 2011 year model) and is light blue in color (commonly referred to as Sky blue).
The vehicle was occupied by a female driver and 2 male passengers.
If you know of the whereabouts of a vehicle matching this description, please notify the Criminal Investigations Division of the Pickens Sheriff’s Office at 706-253-8935 or you can contact the non-emergency number of the Emergency Dispatch center at 706-253-8911.

It is a shame the police can't make the suspects pictures more availble to the public , not everyone has facebook nor will I get it. I have searched the progress online site today, can't find the the pic.,,, and Than they wonder why they have no more leads . Thanks [Editor's Note: There should be two pics there. Just re-did it where both will show. Unfortunately sheriff office didn't have better photos. See our print edition this week for a more complete recap of the crime.]
