George Howell, Jr.
    Mr. George Willie Howell, Jr., age 78 of Nelson, Ga., died Saturday, Nov. 23, 2013, at United Hospice in Marietta, Ga.
    George was born April 22, 1935 in Sandersville, Ga., to the late George and Annie Howell. He served his country in the United States Army.
    He is survived by his sons, Joseph Mark Howell, Chamblee, and George Willie Howell III, Stone Mountain; grandchildren, Chanon Howell, Acworth, and Deion and Jonathan Howell, both of Chamblee; and great-grandchild, Mateo Howell, Vancouver, B.C. Several nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive.
    The funeral service was held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 27, at Roper Funeral Home Chapel with interment at 1 p.m. in Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, Ga. Wake services were Tuesday at Roper Funeral Home from 5-8 p.m.

Cicero Boling
    Roper Funeral Home and Crematory announces the death of Mr. Cicero Boling, age 82 of Jasper, who passed away Thursday, Nov. 21, 2013, at the Heritage Healthcare in Jasper.
    He was born on April 28, 1931, to the late Monroe and Rosa Boling. He was retired from the Georgia Marble Company.
    He is preceded in death by his wife, Carolyn Boling; son, Sid Boling; grandson, Justin Dixon; and brothers, Thurston, Charlie, Claude, Fred, and Cliff.
He is survived by his daughters and sons-in-law, Jeannette and Larry Beaver, Euharlee, Annette and T O Carroll, Tate, and Joyce and Frank White, Kennesaw; and special niece and nephew, Ruby and Fred Ponders. Eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren also survive.
    The funeral service was held at 3 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 24, at the Chapel of Roper Funeral Home with the Rev. Steve Chadwick officiating. Interment followed in Refuge Baptist Church Cemetery.
