Mrs. Ora Dean
    Roper Funeral Home and Crematory of Jasper announces the funeral arrangements of Mrs. Ora Dell Dean, age 89 of Jasper, who passed away on Monday August 5, 2013, at Piedmont Mountainside Hospital.
    She was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert Dean; and great-grandson, Dustin Hightower.
    She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, J.W. and Maxine Dean, Jasper; sisters, Ruby Quarles and Pat Sanford, both of Ellijay; grandchildren, Carmen and Robby Lusk and Andrea and Greg Logan, all of Jasper; great-grandchildren, Jessica Jones, Jerrica Hightower, Rachel Hutson and Ashley and Will Logan; great-great-grandchildren, Kayleigh, Tatelynn, Abigail and Myles; brother-in-law, Larry Dean, Talking Rock; and sisters-in-law, Claudia Buckner and Minalee Mullinax, Jasper. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
    The funeral service was held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, August 7, 2013, at the Chapel of Roper Funeral Home with the Revs. Wallace Parks and Marvin Young officiating. Interment followed in the Ball Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. The family did accept flowers or those who desire may make contributions to the Good Samaritan Clinic in Jasper.

Thurman (T.A.) Wilson
    In loving memory of Mr. Thurman (T.A.) Wilson, age 81 of Jasper, who entered into rest on Thursday, August 22, 2013, at Hospice Advantage.
    Mr. Thurman was survived by his sons and daughters-in-law, Randolph and Christina Wilson and Thomas and Carol Wilson, all of Jasper, and Dan and Cally Wilson, Talking Rock; daughters and sons-in-law, Becky and Ken Stone and LaRue and Buck Carruth, all of Canton, and Dawn Dobbins, Indianapolis, In.; and sisters, Jewell Brooks, Jasper, and Judy Floyd of Chattanooga, Tn.  Mr. Thurman had 15 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild and several nieces and nephews.
    Mr. Thurman was preceded in death by his brother, T.L. Wilson; and sisters, Lillian Carver and Lamode Richards.
    The funeral service was held at 2 p.m. Sunday, August 25, at Cagle Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Ralph DeVereaux officiating. Interment was at Sunrise Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers were: Fulton Arrington, Greg Trammel, Jem Hames, Danny Brooks, Larry Richards, Chris Schien, James Anderson and Charles Padgett. Cagle Funeral Home was honored to serve the Wilson family.

Lorena Williams
    Mrs. Lorena P. Williams, age 93 of Jasper, passed away Wednesday August 21, 2013, at Heritage Health Care in Jasper.         She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Williams; children, Marvin Jean Williams, Melvin Pat Williams and Marlin Billy Williams and grandson, Jamie Fleming.
    She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Marilyn and Bob Fleming, Jasper; and grandchildren, Diane and Terry Thomason, Rena and Randy Kirk and Joey and Margaret Fleming. Nine great-grandchildren and 11 great-great grandchildren also survive.
    The funeral service was held at 2 p.m. Friday August 23, at Philadelphia Baptist Church with the Revs. Grant Wade, Edwin Weaver and Bill Lawrence officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the staff of Roper Funeral Home.

Dr. Rev. James Hannah
    In loving memory of Dr. Rev. James Larry Hannah, age 78 of Tate, who entered into rest on Wednesday, August 21, 2013, at Piedmont Mountainside Hospital.
    Dr. Rev. Hannah was the pastor of White United Methodist Church in White and had served in the ministry for 47 years.
    Dr. Rev. Hannah was survived by his wife, Elaine Moore Hannah, Tate, Ga.; son and daughter-in-law, James Larry, Jr. and Cindy Hannah, Sugar Hill, Ga.; daughters and sons-in-law, Debra Hannah and the Rev. Mike Campbell, Clayton, Ga., Lynn Hannah, Canton, Ga., and  Rachel Hannah and the Rev. Dan Crumley, Orange, Va.; sister, Marilyn Hannah, Tucker, Ga.; grandchildren, Sarah and Jack Nolan, David and April Campbell, Daniel Campbell, Justin and Brandon Lade, Virginia and Alex Hannah and Jessica and Grace Crumley; and great-grandchildren, Grace and Andy Nolan and Peyton and Jaxon Campbell.
    The funeral service was held at 1 p.m. Saturday, August 24, at Cagle Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Mike Campbell and Dan Crumley officiating.  Interment was 4:30 at Friendship Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery in Lilburn, Ga., with Dr. Rev. James Lee officiating. The family accepted flowers or donations to White United Methodist Church. Cagle Funeral Home was honored to serve the Hannah family.
