Mrs. Judy Ann Jordan, age 62 of Jasper, passed away on May 31, 2011, at Brian Center in Canton.
She was a member of Fairview Baptist Church and was on the Board of Directors for the Pickens County CARES Organization.
Survivors include her husband, Truman Jordan, Jasper; and children, Michael and Jason Jordan, Ball Ground, Cindy Mitchell and Brittany Jordan, Jasper. Five grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends also survive.
A memorial service is scheduled for Saturday, June 11, at 3 p.m. from Fairview Baptist Church. Sosebee Funeral Home, Canton, was honored to serve the family.
Mr. David McLaughlin, age 62 of Ball Ground, passed away Monday, May 30, 2011, at Piedmont Hospital in Atlanta.
Survivors include his father and mother, George and Rae McLaughlin, Jasper; daughter and son-in-law, Stacy and Terry Riddle, Kennesaw; step-daughter, Stephanie Carden, Marietta; brother, Dennis McLaughlin, Jasper; sister, Pam Dorsey, Jasper; and grandsons, T.J. Riddle and Will and Taylor Carden.
A graveside service was held at 9:30 a.m. Friday, June 3, from Georgia National Cemetery in Cherokee County with the Rev. Von Hinton officiating. Local Chapter 47 DAV was in charge of military graveside honors. Memorials may be made to Cagle Funeral Home to assist with the funeral expenses.
Mrs. Reba Carver, age 85 of Mableton, formerly of Tate, passed away Friday, June 3, 2011, at Wellstar Cobb Hospital in Austell.
Survivors include her sisters, Mary Bradley Jordan, Cobb County, and Sarah Bradley Duffey, Hamilton, Ga. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
The funeral service was held at 2 p.m. Monday, June 6, from the Chapel of Cagle Funeral Home with the Rev. Bob Self officiating. Interment followed in Sunrise Memorial Gardens in Jasper. Pallbearers were: Bradley, Mark and Matt Anuszkiewicz, Michael Jones and Brett and Brandon Duffey.
Mrs. Lisa Bradley, age 44 of Jasper, passed away at Piedmont Mountainside Hospital early Friday morning.
Survivors include her husband, Carlon Bradley, Jasper; daughter, Jessica Lynn Bradley, Jasper; mother, Nancy Marty, Leesburg, Fl.; brother, Robert Palim, Texas; step-brother, Christopher Palim; brothers- and sisters-in-law, Roy and Janice Bradley, Jasper, Patsy Wingo, Gainesville, and Linda and David Pittman, Cumming; and close friends, Kelly Chumley and Diane Wilson. Aunts, uncles and cousins also survive.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, June 13, from the Chapel of Roper Funeral Home with the Rev. Ronnie Grant officiating. The family requests in lieu of flowers contributions be made to Relay for Life and the Hope House in memory of Lisa.
