Georgia, September 8- Average retail gasoline prices in Georgia have risen 3.2 cents per gallon in the past week, averaging $3.35/g yesterday, according to GasBuddy's daily survey of 5,883 gas outlets in Georgia. This compares with the national average that has increased 1.3 cents per gallon in the last week to $3.44/g, according to gasoline price website GasBuddy.com.

A prediction from a Georgia State University economist in today’s Atlanta Journal-Constitution suggests the governor's policies are working.
